Remains of Kansas

Here are a few more photos from my 'excursion' of abandon places in Kansas.

String of Overcast Days

I shot this on the last day of what seemed like too many overcast days of my friend Ebie in a field somewhere between both of our own homes. We only shot for about 10 minutes, but long enough to watch a father and son fly planes in a field (and get stuck in trees)! I love witnessing moments like that.

Open Door to 2011!

I cant believe how quickly 2010 has came and went! This was by far the best year yet in all aspects!

Here are a few photos of doors from abandon buildings in Colony and Lone Elm, Kansas. The past few months I have been really mesmerized by abandon places and I have continued shooting them heavily over the break! Im taking my time with editing lately; trying to learn new techniques, trying many different styles, and havent had much time in general so I have been slow with posting all the new places I have been shooting. But 2011 will be rung in with tons of new posts!

A happy new year to all of you!  May your 2011 be better than the last.

Grafitti and Christmas Trees

I could feel the antipication of rain about to fall today, so I grabbed my camera and took a quick break to Union Square. I saw some cool scribbles on the walls on my walk down that I thought were really interesting, I ran into some friends while wondering around, and I took some shots of the progression of the Christmas tree being strung with lights! I hope your rainy day was well spent also.
